Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has defended Akshay Kumar against criticism for his busy film schedule. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Paresh downplayed concerns about the impact of Akshay's numerous releases on film quality, urging appreciation for the actor's dedication.

When questioned about whether Akshay's workload affects his films, Paresh replied, “What’s the problem if he makes so many films? People choose him for projects, and yes, he is compensated for his work; it's not charity. As a producer, I would only hire an actor if I believe in my investment.”

He stressed that Akshay's work ethic shouldn't be criticized, noting, “He enjoys what he does. He’s not involved in anything illegal; he’s simply working hard. His films provide jobs for thousands. I don’t see the issue—where is the problem?” Paresh also highlighted his friendship with Akshay, describing it as secure, with both actors flourishing in their respective careers. He commended Akshay’s hard work, honesty, and integrity, adding that collaborating with him is rewarding, calling it a “bonus.”

Akshay Kumar was last seen in the Air Force drama Sky Force alongside Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur. He has a busy lineup ahead, including Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5, Bhoot Bangla (co-starring Paresh Rawal), Welcome to the Jungle (co-starring Paresh Rawal), Hera Pheri 3 (co-starring Paresh Rawal as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte), Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, The Bravery: Legendary Untold Story of Shaheed Bhagat Singh,

He will also be a part of a cameo in the Telugu film Kannappa. Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal is also set to appear in projects like *Badtameez Gill*, *Thama*, and *The Taj Story*.
