 Vijay Sethupathi is mourning the demise of his 'Laabam' director SP Jananathan breathed his last yesterday. As per the latest report from an online portal, Vijay Sethupathi visited SP Jananathan when he was getting treated in a private hospital and now the actor has agreed to pay late SP Jananathan's full medical expenses. According to the reports, SP Jananathan was working on the post-production work of 'Laabam' for the last few days. However, he didn't come to the editing table last Thursday. Eventually, his assistants found him unconscious at his home.

It is believed that SP Jananathan who had initially suffered a brain illness and been given special treatment by a group of expert doctors, suffered a cardiac arrest yesterday. Kollywood celebrities and fans are shocked by the demise of SP Jananathan and are pouring their condolences on social media. Laabam starring Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles is one of the highly anticipated Kollywood films. It is to be noted that Vijay Sethupathi’s Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai was also directed by SP Jaganathan.
