Mumbai, Feb 3 Actor Vishal Aditya Singh, who will play the lead in 'Bhagwaan Parashuraam', shared that he is excited to delve into the unexplored, saying the show aims to bring viewers closer to Indian history and culture.

'Bhagwaan Parashuraam' starring Vishal, Ishita Ganguly, and Navina Bole, tells the unknown story of a God whose presence is recognised but not entirely explored. The devotional series will showcase the journey of Lord Parashuraam, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Talking about the show, Vishal, who plays the character of Bhagwaan Parashuraam shared: "India has deep roots in mythology, and the Indian entertainment industry has brought forth some amazing stories. While we are familiar with Lord Vishnu's tales, his avatars are less known."

He further said: "As a spiritual person, when the opportunity to play 'Lord Parashuraam' came my way, I was excited to delve into the unexplored. The show will not only entertain viewers but also takes them on a deep dive into the lesser-known backstory of this powerful entity. I am excited to be a part of this as it aims to bring viewers closer to Indian history and culture."

'Bhagwaan Parashuraam' will premiere on February 5 on Star Bharat.
