VJ Chitra’s Death: Crucial audio evidence from Chitra's phone recovered, against Hemanth

The Chennai police have reportedly collected evidence from late actress VJ Chitra  which has come crucial voice messages of the actress about her husband. According to a report in DT Next, Hemanth had deleted the audio files from Chitra’s phone before handing it over to the cops. However, with the help of Cyber police, they retrieved some audio files, where she has complained about Hemanth to her father-in-law. Apparently, he has abused her for taking part in reality shows where she danced with her co star from the TV series Pandiyan Stores. According to police sources, the audio clips that were retrieved from Chitra's mobile played an important evidence that led to the arrest of Hemanth. 

The audio clip purportedly was a conversation between VJ Chitra and her father-in-law. In the audio, VJ Chitra had said that Hemanth had repeatedly objected to her playing intimate scenes with the male artists of the famous soap-opera 'Pandiyan Stores'. It was also revealed that heated arguments often arose between the couple. She shared an incident where Hemanth made her confess in public that she will not participate any further in the famous dance reality show that had her on-screen pair as her co contestant. Apparently, all these incidents happened before the couple registered their marriage. Post their register marriage, VJ Chitra was reportedly abused by Hemanth in the pretext of suspecting her character and conduct. VJ Chitra had sought her father-in-law's help to resolve the issue with Hemanth as the latter had warned her to end her career. Last week, a shock wave was sent across social media when the news of her suicide came up. She came to the hotel room which she shared with Hemanth late at night. After coming to the room, she went to the bathroom to take a bath. However, when she did not come out for a long time, Hemanth asked for help. When they opened the door with an emergency key, she was found hanging from the ceiling.
