Lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar turned 75 recently and he celebrated his birthday in style with his family and closest friends from the industry. Getting the party started with a retro-themed bash with wife Shabana Azmi and many legendary artists from B-town, the star hosted another formal bash that saw everyone from Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Kapoor in attendence. Pictures  of stars dressed from the party have been doing the rounds on social media.  

However, it was his son son Farhan Akhtar's Senorita song that has got everyone hooked onto.  Apart from crooning a song, Farhan also joined his guests as they shimmied to ‘Senorita’. celebs including Rakesh Roshan and his wife, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vishal Bhardwaj, Rekha, Satish Kaushik, Ali Zafar, Richa Chadda, Subhash Ghai, Ritesh Sidhwani and his wife, Rohit Roy and Ronit Roy were part of the star studded birthday bash. On the worl front. Farhan will be next be seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Toofan along with Mrunal Thakur. The film scheduled to release on October 2.
