Beneficial for weight loss:Corn silk is low in calories, which helps you lose weight. Drinking tea made from it keeps the stomach full and it also helps in detoxifying the body. 

Skin problems go away:Corn silk cures various skin problems. Relieves itching, pimples, insect bites. Its antibacterial and anti-septic properties protect the skin. 

Vitamin C:Corn yarns that we throw away without use contain a lot of vitamin C. It is a good anti-oxidant and helps prevent cardiovascular disease. It also improves blood flow in the body. 

Kidney problems go away:Corn silk can increase urine flow and decrease the chances of sediment formation in kidneys, which otherwise can lead to kidney stone formation.
