According to IMD, the effect of heatwave can be seen in many states in North India from past few days. A small mistake in heatwave or rising temperature can be harmful to health. Because the increase in temperature can be dangerous for the heart.

According to experts, heatwave or high temperature affects the cardiovascular system, which can increase the risk of heart attack. Due to high temperature, the body cannot keep itself cool. Due to which the internal temperature increases. In this way, the heart rate increases, and this increases the risk of heart attack.

Blood flow: Heat stroke can increase the body temperature. Heat stroke is a condition in which the temperature of our environment increases so much that our body cannot cool itself. Due to this, the blood flow slows down. Due to the increase in temperature, the blood thickens. Due to which there is more pressure on the heart to flow blood. This increases the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Who is at higher risk: People with pre-existing heart problems are more susceptible to rising temperatures. Apart from this, the elderly are also at higher risk. In such a situation, people with heart disease should consult their doctor to take care of their heart during rising temperatures.
