Heavy rains lashed parts of Dubai causing heavy leakage and flood like situations in some of the most popular Dubai mall.

Heavy rains lashed parts of Dubai causing heavy leakage and flood like situations in some of the most popular Dubai malls. Several flights where cancelled due to the disruptive weather conditions which is expected to remain the same for a few days. The UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority advised residents to avoid using cell phones during thunder storms.
Videos and pictures on Twitter, showed shops in the largest mall being flooded with rainwater. The police has called on the drivers to exercise caution while driving and have been asked to reduce their speed to 80km/h. The weather bureau has issued a yellow and red alert for the residents because of the prevailing conditions.
