Series of blasts in buses rocked Central Israel; police said it is a "suspected militant attack," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold a security meeting over the terror attack. However, no causalities were reported, and more explosives were found on other buses.

"Preliminary report - Suspected terror attack. Multiple reports have been received of explosions involving several buses at different locations in Bat Yam," the police said in a statement, AP news reported.

Blast in Bus in Central Israel

The blasts took place shortly after the Hamas Group returned the remains of four Israeli hostages from Gaza, marking the first eight deceased hostages expected to be returned during the current ceasefire deal. 

 

Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Israeli military to carry out "an intensive operation against centres of terrorism" in the West Bank, the prime minister's office posted on X a short time ago.

"The Prime Minister  has ordered the IDF to carry out an intensive operation against centers of terrorism in Judea and Samaria. The Prime Minister also ordered the Israel Police and the ISA to increase preventative activity against additional attacks in Israeli cities," PMO said in a post on X.
