New Mexico: Two US Service Members Killed at US-Mexico in Accident in Santa Teresa
According to the United States Northern Command (NORTHCOM) statement, two service members were killed and another critically injured in vehicle accident that took place Tuesday morning, April 15, in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
The accident occurred at around 9.00 am (New Mexico local time)."Three service members deployed in support of Joint Task Force Southern Border were involved in a vehicle accident," NORTHCOM said. More than 10,000 active duty service members have been authorised for the border mission.

Officials have not released the names of the deceased, citing the need to notify next of kin before any further details are shared publicly. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
