Propwash Airport Plane Crash: One Killed After Small Aircraft Crashes in Texas

At least one person was killed in a Propwash Airport crash that took place in the US state of Texas on Friday evening, April 11. The incident took place in Justin near Denton County at around 7 pm, prompting emergency agencies to reach the spot.

According to the Mirror report, the pilot of the 2019 Sabrewing Lightsport aircraft experienced sudden mechanical issues in the aircraft and tried to turn back to the Propwash Airport, but to crashed to the ground before reaching the runway. Multiple investigation agencies are the spot, said a spokesperson for the City of Justin authority in Texas.

The crash took place hours after a plane accident where all three people onboard were killed in Boca Ration, Florida. A video recorded by an eyewitness shows a white aircraft descending and crashing on the road site, leading to black clouds of smoke and fire visible from a distance in Justin town.

Meanwhile on Thursday, a helicopter carrying five members of the same family crashed into Hudson River in New York City. Siemens chief Agustin Escobar, with his wife and two children were killed in the incident.

Coming back to Texas crash, a witness told CBS News Texas he saw the plane experiencing a problem shortly after leaving Propwash Airport, a light aircraft base. The pilot attempted to return to the airport but crashed before reaching it, the shocked witness continued.

The Justin Fire Department issued a release confirming the plane crash in Texas. The fire department said that the incident took place outside the city limits and beyond the Justin Extraterritorial Jurisdiction near the Propwash Airport.
