Shoaib Akhtar: We'll capture Kashmir and then invade India from all sides for Ghazwa e Hind

Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is batting for 'Gajwa-e-Hind'. ""Ghazwa e Hind is mentioned in our sacred books. We will first capture Kashmir and then invade India from all sides for Ghazwa e Hind," said Shoaib Akhtar.

An old video is going viral on social media where Akhtar is seen talking about ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’."After all cricket & art have no boundaries. After Ghazwa e Hind, India will have no boundaries!," said the cricketer. 

He made this statement while talking to Sama TV. Akhtar's statement has gone viral on social media. Akhtar is not the first cricketer to make controversial statement against India. Earlier, cricketers like Shahid Afridi and Javed Miandad have also made controversial statements against India.

In an interview given to Sama TV, Shoaib is seen talking about 'Gajwa-e-Hind'. Gajwa-e-Hind means 'holy war against India'. “It is written in our scriptures that Ghazwa-e-Hind will take place and the river in Attock will be coloured red twice with blood. Forces from Afghanistan will reach till Attock. After those forces will rise from Shamal Mashriq, different contingents will arrive from Uzbekistan, etc. All of this refers to Khorasan, a historical region which extended till Lahore.”, 'Akhtar said in an interview.
