In a shocking incident that has taken place in Germany, where an overdose of the coronavirus vaccine has worsened the condition of eight people. All eight are health workers. Pfizer-BioNtech’s COVID-19 vaccine shot were given to health workers in the Stralsund area of ​​Germany on Sunday. However, the dose of the vaccine was five times higher than the prescribed dose. As per reports, the eight individuals were sent home as soon as the mistake was identified. While four of them reportedly developed flu-like symptoms, they were also hospitalised for further observation. 

The incident took place in the northeastern city of Stralsund in the Vorpommern-Ruegen district and the district chief Stefan Kerth said in a statement that he ‘deeply regretted’ the mishap and informed that it was the result of an “individual mistake”."I deeply regret the incident. This single event is the result of an individual mistake. I hope that all those affected will not develop serious side-effects," he said.
