South Korea: 7 Injured After KF-16 Fighter Jet Accidentally Drops 8 Bombs in Residential Area of Seoul
At least seven citizens of South Korea in Seoul were injured after a KF-16 fighter jet accidentally dropped shell bombs in a residential area during the US-South Korean military exercise. South Korea’s Army and Air Force conducted a combined live-fire drill with US military troops at the Seungjin Fire Training Field in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the South Korean Air Force, KF-16 fighter jet “abnormally” released eight MK-82 bombs outside the training range, injuring seven people. Four people were among those who received serious injuries in the accidental bombing, while seven civilian buildings were destroyed.

The Air Force issued an apology for the destruction and harm to citizens accidentally. The officials are on the spot and conducting necessary rescue operations from the areas.
