Kash Patel, an Indian-origin who has been appointed the 9th FBI director, took the oath on Friday, February 22. Patel was born to Gujarati parents in New York in 1980. US Attorney General Pam Bondi administered the oath at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in the presence of his family and girlfriend.
