During the last ashra (the final ten days) of Ramadan, certain nights hold immense significance, particularly the odd nights, which are known as Laylatul Qadr or Shab-e-Qadr. This sacred night of Ramzan Kareem is considered the most important and essential for seeking Allah’s (SWT) blessings and mercy. It is also referred to as the Night of Power or the Night of Decree.
It is believed that on Laylatul Qadr, the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the angel Gabriel (Jibrīl). During these odd nights of Ramadan, Muslims around the world seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness. They spend the night in prayer, reciting the Quran, and reflecting on their faith.
On the 27th night of Ramadan, heavy rainfall was reported inside Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Many believers view this as a divine sign of Laylatul Qadr, further enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the holy month.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the holiest period for fasting. It begins and ends with the sighting of the crescent moon. Since the Islamic lunar calendar is shorter than the Gregorian calendar, Ramadan starts 10–12 days earlier each year, allowing it to fall in every season over a 33-year cycle.
