Ramadan 2025 Sehri & Iftar Timings: Top 10 Global Cities With Longest & Shortest Fasting Hours

The holy month of Ramadan has already begun across the world, and people in Muslim communities are fasting during the day. Ramzan is the 9th month of the Hijri calendar. In some countries, Ramadan 2025 began on February 28 evening, while in South Asian nations, it started on March 1, 2025.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims believe the Islamic book, the Quran, was completely revealed. During this month, Muslims around the world observe fasting (Roza), give charity, receive the holy book, etc. The period of fasting in some countries is longest, while some countries have the shortest Roza. However, it depends on the different geographical locations due to variations in daylight hours.
