The effects of global warming are being felt all over the world. The summers that used to be bearable during summer vacations by eating ice cream, kulfi, and snowballs have now become unbearable. The number of coolers and ACs in homes has increased. Sweating is natural due to the heat, but if you are sweating other times to then you it can be signs of disease.

Everyone's body reacts differently in summer. Some people adapt easily to the outside heat, while some people feel that the situation is under control even after taking a sip of cold water, sitting under a fan, or drinking water. However, there are some whose sweat does not stop. Have you ever observed why this happens?

  1. Thermoregulation: It is a process in the human body that tries to maintain a constant temperature inside the body. When the external environment temperature increases, the body sweats. But in some people, this mechanism does not work properly, which makes them feel hotter. Some people have a faster metabolism, which causes their body to produce more energy. They also sweat more.
  2. Early Menopause: This can also be caused by hormonal imbalances. Women in particular experience hormonal changes due to conditions such as menopause, pregnancy, or PCOS, which can affect body temperature. In addition, thyroid problems can cause body temperature to rise.
  3. Obesity: The digestive process slows down in people who have a lot of fat in their bodies. Such people have difficulty cooling their bodies. At that time, the body cools down through sweating. This happens naturally.
  4. Sweating also occurs after eating spicy or hot foods, or if a person is constantly stressed and drinks less water, the body heat increases and sweats profusely.

All these symptoms are natural. However, if you are sweating even while sitting in the AC due to stress on your heart, or if your heart rate increases at an unpredictable rate due to fear, then the sweating may be a symptom of a heart-related disease.

Sweating at other times, such as when working, exercising, dancing, running, climbing mountains, or climbing stairs, is natural and there is no reason to worry. Even if you are sweating more than others, it is a sign that you have a hot body, and sweating is a natural way for the body to keep cool!
