Yoga Asanas to Reduce Fatigue After Work; Try These 2 Poses for Instant Relaxation

Working women juggle both home and office responsibilities, which can be quite challenging. After a long day at work, you often feel exhausted from the demands of your job and the commute. Sitting for nine hours in the office not only leads to mental fatigue but also physical tiredness due to prolonged screen time and stress. By the time you get home, it’s common to feel drained and overwhelmed.

To combat this fatigue and rejuvenate yourself for the next task, consider doing two simple yoga poses at home. Taking just 10 to 15 minutes for these exercises can help alleviate the tiredness and restore your energy quickly.

The two recommended poses are:

1. Balasana: Sitting all day can create tension in your thighs and buttocks. Balasana helps relax these muscles and can aid in reducing excess fat in the area. To perform Balasana, start in Vajrasana on a yoga mat. Bring the soles of your feet together, keeping your knees wide apart. Bend at the waist, lowering your stomach and chest between your knees, with your head on the ground and arms extended forward.

2. Shavasana: To relieve stress accumulated throughout the day, practice Shavasana. Lay a mat on the floor and lie flat on your back, relaxing all your muscles. Position your arms alongside your body with palms facing up, and allow your legs to fall naturally to the sides. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and maintain this position for 5-10 minutes. This pose calms both the mind and body, leaving you feeling refreshed.

Spending just 10 to 15 minutes on Balasana and Shavasana after work can effectively reduce your fatigue and help you feel revitalized.
