The Shivshahi, an air-conditioned bus introduced by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, has received positive feedback from passengers. However, the bus has been making headlines due to several issues. On Saturday (May 20), while transporting passengers from Pune to Nashik, the Shivshahi bus suddenly stopped in the Ghargaon area of Sangamner taluka when smoke began to emerge. This incident caused panic among the passengers, who hurriedly disembarked from the bus.
The air-conditioned bus, travelling from Pune to Nashik, experienced an unexpected incident when smoke started coming out of the compressor. This sudden occurrence created fear among the passengers onboard.
The bus, carrying 45 passengers, was en route to Nashik on the Nashik-Pune highway when it reached the Ghargaon area of Sangamner taluka around 12:15 pm. The smoke emerged from the front of the bus, prompting the driver, Akash Arvind Gaikwad, to promptly stop the vehicle. As a result, the passengers inside became alarmed and disembarked from the bus. Their concern grew, fearing that the bus might catch fire.
