Akola Accident: 5 Dead, 2 Critically Injured After Brick-Laden Truck Overturns on Bike (Watch Video)

Akola, Maharashtra (April 12, 2025): A major accident took place near Dagadparwa village on the Akola-Mangrulpir road on Saturday when a truck loaded with bricks overturned on a two-wheeler. The incident left five people dead and two others critically injured. The injured have been admitted to the Akola District Hospital for treatment.

According to local sources, the truck suddenly lost balance and overturned on the bike. The accident caused panic in the area as several people were trapped under the heap of bricks.

Locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operations to pull out those stuck under the debris. Among the deceased, four were reportedly travelling in the truck.

Police have started an investigation into the incident.
