Amravati: Cash and Valuables Destroyed in Fire at Central Bank Branch in Chandur Railway
A massive fire broke out in a Central Bank branch located in Chandur Railway area in Amravati district of Maharashtra on Saturday, March 15. According to the news agency IANS, blaze destroyed cash and other valuables in the bank, however, bank employees were evacuated safely without any injuries.
The incident reported at around 12.30 pm on Saturday afternoon. After receiving the distress call from bank, firefighters and local police reached to the spot. Local authorities are engaged in dousing operation. The blaze erupted due to short circuit.
