The number of corona patients is increasing in some districts of Maharashtra even before the possible third wave of corona. This is a warning sign. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday directed the state administration to be vigilant and take efforts to stop the third wave.

Don't let the business world stop. Larger companies should arrange for workers to stay in the company's premises. Those who cannot afford it should have separate accommodation near the factory, he added. The Chief Minister interacted with all the Divisional Commissioners, Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, Police Officers, as well as some representatives from the industry sector through the video conferencing. Although the number of patients in the second wave of corona has decreased, it is still stable at 8,500 to 9,000. The numbers are not going down beyond that. On the contrary, the number of patients is increasing again in some districts, which is a matter of concern, said the Chief Minister.

Increase the Corona RTPCR tests, do not allow crowds in public places, as well as at tourist spots, take care that citizens walking on the streets are wearing masks. Strictly follow the corona rules by declaring the area where the number of patients is increasing as a containment zone. Accelerate oxygen production. Don't let the hard work done so far be wasted, said the Chief Minister.

Companies should get their workers vaccinated from the quota of private hospitals, appealed Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat and Industry Minister Subhash Desai. Pradip Vyas presented the Corona position.

Covid situation in 8 districts concerning

The covid situation in these eight districts Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad and Ahmednagar is more concerning. There is a large crowd of tourists in the districts of Konkan due to monsoon tourism. The local administration should stop it. The Chief Minister said that strict rules should be imposed to stop crowding at tourits places.
