Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday visited Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation and took a review of the COVID-19 situation with Mayor, Municipal Commissioner, SP and other officials.

He visited Bharat Ratna Bhimsen Joshi Covid hospital at Mira Bhayandar and interacted with healthcare officials. He said,"looking at the high infection rate in Mira Bhayander, testing needs to be increased. 3 days of time to get the COVID-19 results is too long.

He also shared a video on his twitter account,"People are suffering despite claims from the administration that beds are available in hospitals but they are not getting admission. We need to create proper mechanism which can work as interface between needy & hospital management.More use of technology is must in such situations.

The Ex CM also visited the quarantine centre too in Bhayander pada and said quarantine centres also need interventions like proper food arrangements & maintaining cleanliness.
