On Monday evening, Guardian Minister Bachchu Kadu inspected the mess at a Akola Government Medical College after Lokmat published a news of poor quality meals given to Covid patients at the general hospital.

Akola Government Medical College has once again come under discussion.

Taking serious note of the complaints of poor quality food being provided to the patients here, the Guardian Minister and Minister of State Bachchu Kadu raided the premises and reprimanded the concerned officers and employees. The minister when questioned the officers over the poor quality meals one of the employee didn't answer properly which angered the minister and allegedly slapped him.

Minister of State Bachchu Kadu is known as an aggressive leader. Earlier also the minister had hit some administrative officials.

At Akola GMC, Guardian Minister Bachchu Kadu had received complaints from patients that they were being given poor quality food. Kadu took serious note of the complaints and made a surprise visit to the medical college.

Along with him, the dean of the government medical college, Dr. Meenakshi Gajbhiye and other officials were present. While Guardian Minister Bachchu Kadu was inspecting the actual meal arrangements, he got angry when he saw the meal. The account of the cost of meals for the last year in the medical college was also not shown by the authority.

The hospital couldn't produce a full year record. Kadu expressed his displeasure over this. After that, Kadu asked the concerned staff about the quality of the meal. An employee gave Kadu a vague reply. After which Kadu angrily slapped the employee.
