Amid rising Covid-19 cases, Palghar district administration has imposed restrictions from April 5 to curb the spread of the virus. The administration in it's notification said shopping malls, shops and establishments can operate from 7am to 7pm. Bars and restaurants will be allowed to remain open from 7am to 9pm, while home delivery of food and goods can be done till 10pm. 

Apart from this, collector has banned weddings after April 15. 

Check out what will remain open what will remain closed: 

  • Marriages that are to be held till April 15 can take place from 7am to 7pm. 
  • Permission from the concerned police station to hold the wedding has been made mandatory. 
  • Schools, colleges and coaching classes will be shut till further orders. 
  • Class 10 and 12 exams will be held as per decision taken by the state government. 
  • The number of persons allowed at funerals has been restricted to 20. 
  • All religious places will have to be shut by 7pm. 
  • Hawkers will be allowed to do business from 7am to 8pm. 
  • All restrictions will come in force from April 5.
