Cyclone Nisarga has intensified into severe cyclonic storm and it the landfall process has begun in Maharashtra's Alibaug. Hanging over the Arabian Sea, 110 kilometres from Mumbai, Nisarga is moving at a speed of 11 kilometres per hour. 

Amid the cyclone scare the mobile network services have disrupted in some parts of Raigad district, says Nidhi Choudhari, District Magistrate. 

Due to strong winds tin roof atop a building in Raigarh was also blown away as Cyclone Nisarga lands along Maharashtra.
