An earthquake measuring  2.5 magnitude was recorded 103 km north of Mumbai on Wednesday morning.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the low-intensity earthquake arose 103 kilometre north of Mumbai in Maharashtra. It occurred at 11.51 am.

People came out of the houses in Mumbai after the tremors.
