The sudden demise has left the college and her family in deep shock. The incident occurred at R. G. Shinde College in Paranda. The student, identified as Varsha Kharat, was addressing the farewell gathering of her BSc class when she suddenly collapsed on stage. Witnesses rushed her to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.
