“I Have Proof”: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Claims NCP Leaders Connected to Jaykumar Gore Extortion Scandal
Jaykumar Gore was in the spotlight due to allegations of sending obscene photos to a woman. In that case, the court had granted relief to Gore. However, the matter resurfaced later.
A few days ago, the police arrested the woman who had accused Minister Jaykumar Gore in an extortion case. She was caught red-handed while accepting extortion money. Along with her, a YouTube journalist was also arrested in connection with the case.
Speaking on this issue, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that the woman who accused Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore was arrested under extortion charges in Satara district. The woman was caught accepting Rs 1 crore in extortion money, having initially demanded Rs 3 crore to settle the case. The police arrested her while she was accepting the amount.
In the state assembly, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis revealed these details and also stated that the accused woman and her associates are directly in touch with Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) MP Supriya Sule. Devendra Fadnavis submitted a statement in the Legislative Assembly regarding the allegations against Jayakumar Gore and the subsequent arrest of the woman concerned.

He criticized the political motives behind reviving an old case by stating, "If politics is about eliminating someone’s career, it is not right. The case against Jaykumar Gore was filed in 2016 and ended in 2019. At that time, he was not even with us. Later, this matter was suddenly dug up again. I appreciate his courage. In such situations, many people try to settle matters to avoid family disgrace, but when he was blackmailed for a bribe, he decided to take a stand. He knew he was not guilty, as the court had already acquitted him. So, he went to the police and complained. A trap was set, and the entire conversation was recorded. The accused was arrested while accepting the money, proving that this was a case of blackmailing."
To back his claims he said that he had evidence.
Fadnavis further stated that a network involving the complainant woman, a YouTuber named Tushar Kharat, and others was uncovered. He revealed that multiple complaints were filed against Jaykumar Gore.
There was also false propaganda claiming that the accused woman belonged to the family of Sarsenapati Hambirrao Mohite. Investigations led to arrests, including the woman, Tushar Kharat, and Anil Subhedar. Evidence was found proving their conspiracy.
Shockingly, Fadnavis alleged that members of the Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP were in direct contact with the accused. He stated, "I have proof. Prabhakar Rao Deshmukh spoke with all three accused over 100 times. Tushar Kharat sent videos made against Jaykumar Gore to Supriya Sule and Rohit Pawar. Now, an investigation will be conducted."
