After the violent clash between India and China at Galwan Valley in Ladakh area the nation raged with Boycott China slogans. Amid the protests against China, the Maharashtra government has put 3 Chinese deals worth Rs 5000 crores on hold.

Twenty Indian Army personnel, including a colonel, were killed in a clash with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh on Monday night, the biggest military confrontation in over five decades that has significantly escalated the already volatile border standoff in the region.

On the same day Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with China worth Rs 5000 crores. The 3 MoUs were signed by the Uddhav Thackeray government on 17th June under the 'Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0' hours before the clash between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan Valley.

All the three Chinese companies- Hengli Engineering, PMI Electro Mobility Solutions JV with Photon and Great Wall Motors had signed the deal to invest in Talegaon in Pune district.
