A fire broke out while refilling LPG gas in a school van, resulting in two school vans being completely destroyed in Latur district of Maharashtra on Monday, January 20. Both vehicles belonged to Dilip Salunkhe, who, along with his wife and six-year-old daughter, sustained burn injuries in the incident. They have been admitted to the Government Medical College in Latur for treatment. The fire has since been brought under control.
Dilip Salunkhe resides in the New Bhagyanagar area of Latur city and owns two school vans. On Monday night, a fire suddenly erupted while LPG gas was being filled in one of the vans. The blaze was severe, reducing both vehicles to ashes.

The fire also caused extensive damage to Salunkhe’s house, shattering windows and causing the tires of the vehicles to explode. Salunkhe, his wife, and their young daughter suffered burns in the incident. Neighbours immediately alerted the fire department. Two fire engines were dispatched to the location and managed to bring the fire under control.
