The industry department is examining the viability of holding "Magnetic Maharashtra," an event that chief minister Devendra Fadnavis began to draw in new investments, somewhere between October and December. The state government plans to resume it this year.
The inaugural Magnetic Maharashtra event took place in 2018 at the behest of CM Fadnavis. "Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0" was organised after the MVA administration won power in 2019; however, because of the pandemic, it was primarily an online event that took place in June 2020.
In November of last year, Fadnavis took over as CM. After he had reviewed everything with the industry department, he urged the officials to restart the event. The venue of this event is not decided yet. It can happen either in Jio World or Goregaon, as no land is available at BKC. The event will be organised on a grand scale this year.

PM Narendra Modi and then-CM Devendra Fadnavis formally inaugurated the 2018 Magnetic Maharashtra. Late Ratan Tata, who was the head of Tata Sons at the time, also attended this event.
Such incidents have previously happened under different titles as well. "Advantage Maharashtra" and "Advantage Maharashtra Agriculture" were initiated by the state during the Shiv Sena-BJP leadership from 1995 to 1999.
