6 new Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in  Maharashtra state today - 5 in Mumbai and 1 in Thane. Total number of positive cases in the state rise to 122: Maharashtra Health Department

Maharashtra has been the worst hit state by Covid-19. The state has got the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India so far. 

The Government of Maharashtra has set up a dedicated WhatsApp helpline "COVID Helpline Maharashtra" that people can message on and stay updated about COVID-19 facts and latest guidance.

The message shared by the Chief Minister’s office said,"Please send "Hi" to +91-2026127394 to initiate your query on the helpline."

On Tuesday evening, PM Modi urged people not to step out of their homes during these trying times. PM Modi has declared a total lockdown for 21 days to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
