Mumbaikars were taken by surprise by unexpected rains, thunderstorms, and dust storms. On Sunday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted rainfall in some parts of Maharashtra, but these heavy rains and storms have caused delays in Mumbai train services. According to the latest weather update at 5:39 PM, thunder clouds are now moving towards Mumbai, Pune, and Satara.

Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai sky with mod of intensity cloud. Due to this heavy rains and dust storms Divisional Railway Manager- Mumbai Division of Western Railway tweeted and alerted commuters about delay in train schedule by 15-20 minutes. IMD has alerted Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh to be alert as in next 2,3 hrs. there are chances of thunderstorms.
