In tragic road accident in early morning of Thursday a bus carrying devotees from Andhra Pradesh on Dev Darashan Pilgrimage to Nashik Shirdi collided with a parked truck in Buldhana district of Maharashtra. This accident left 35 people injured, including three critical. As per the station house officer report Malkapur Rural Police Station, the collision took place when the bus rammed into a stationary truck by the roadside. “The devotees were en route to Nashik and Shirdi for a religious tour when the accident happened. Thirty-five people were injured, and three of them are in a critical state,” he confirmed.
Dr. Ananta Magar, General Surgeon at Civil Hospital, Buldhana, stated that 10 of the injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment. “We have admitted 10 patients to Buldhana Civil Hospital. They are among the 35 injured in the accident. Our medical team is doing everything possible to stabilize those critically hurt,” Dr. Magar said.
Rescue operations were swiftly carried out by local authorities and police, and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals. The condition of the critically injured is being closely monitored.
Further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident and whether any safety protocols were violated
