Maharashtra: Three Workers Killed as Steel Storage Unit Collapses at Dal Mill in Yavatmal
At least three workers were killed when a steel storage unit for pulses collapsed on them at a dal mill in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal on the evening of Tuesday, April 15. Two labourers were injured and rushed to a government hospital. The incident has caused a stir in the area. The mishap occurred at a dal mill located in the MIDC area of Lohara, near Yavatmal city. The workers were on duty when the storage structure fell, trapping them underneath. Three labourers died on the spot, while two others sustained serious injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Mukesh Suresh Kajle and Suresh Kajle, both from Khandwa and Rampur Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh. The third deceased worker is from Wardha district.

The incident took place at Manorama Jain Dal Mill, where the victims worked as labourers. According to initial reports, the storage unit collapsed while work was in progress. The injured workers are currently undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Yavatmal. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
