Maharashtra Voted for Clock and Bow and Arrow Because of Devendra Fadnavis, says BJP MLA Suresh Dhas
In the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BJP-led Mahayuti won a majority, allowing them to form the government. Devendra Fadnavis was appointed Chief Minister for the third time, with Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar serving as Deputy Chief Ministers. After the victory, BJP MLA Suresh Dhas made a strong statement.
Dhas stated that voters supported Ajit Pawar's Nationalist Congress and Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena because of their trust in Devendra Fadnavis. At an event in Paranda, Dharashiv district, he remarked, "Today, the BJP holds 134 seats out of 225 MLAs, which shows Maharashtra's confidence in Devendra Fadnavis."
He emphasized that the backing for the NCP and Shiv Sena stemmed from Fadnavis's reputation for integrity, saying, "Devendra Fadnavis has a face. He is honest; Maharashtra should be given to him. With this main feeling, people also voted for the clock with us. They also shot arrows with us," said Suresh Dhas.

Dhas also recounted a story about Gopinath Munde, saying, "During a gathering with 13 people on stage and 12 in the audience, Gopinathrao suggested that one person from the stage sit down, making it 12 on both sides. He spoke to that small crowd as if he were addressing 13,000."
