Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Update: Beneficiaries to Receive Financial Aid in Coming Weeks, Says Ajit Pawar

Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, which has faced criticism and speculation about its discontinuation, will continue, assured Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He stated that the beneficiaries would receive the promised financial assistance in the coming weeks, bringing relief to many women relying on the scheme.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has made a statement regarding the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, assuring that the scheme will continue. "Just yesterday, I signed a cheque of Rs 3,500 crore. My sisters will receive the financial aid in the coming weeks," he said. Pawar also raised concerns over irregularities in the crop insurance scheme, stating that while farmers were offered coverage for just Rs 1, claims were made on grazing and government land. He said that such schemes should be utilized properly to benefit the intended beneficiaries.

Former MLA Suresh Jethliya from Parturdhari in Jalna district has joined Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP. Welcoming him into the party, Pawar stated, "I welcome Partur leader Suresh Jethliya for joining the NCP today. We are not doing politics of cowardice; this is Shiv-Shahu-Ambedkar’s Maharashtra, and we want to uphold that tradition."
