Man who lost his son in P-305 barge tragedy donates entire compensation
A father who lost his 36-year-old son in ONGC's P-305 barge tragedy in the wake of Cyclone Tauktae has decided to donate Rs 2 lakh the entire compensation given by ONGC.
The father of Sanish Joseph, who died in the accident, has decided to donate Rs 2 lakh compensation given by ONGC
Out of this, 50 per cent, i.e. Rs 1 lakh, will be provided by the Chief Minister's Assistance Fund and the remaining Rs 1 lakh will be provided for setting up a library in his hometown Kerala. Saneesh, a bachelor, died two days after he celebrated his birthday onboard P-305. He was to return home by the end of May. Aneesh his brother said they lost communication with Saneesh, who was a rigger on the barge, two days after his birthday.
