Maratha Activist Manoj Jarange Accuses Dhananjay Munde of Power Greed, Condemns Suresh Dhas’ Actions

The murder of Beed Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh has ignited political turmoil in the state. The accused are in custody, while one remains at large. Calls for Dhananjay Munde's resignation are escalating, with figures like Suresh Dhas, Manoj Jarange , and Anjali Damania leading the charge. Following reports of a meeting between BJP MLA Suresh Dhas and NCP leader Dhananjay Munde, Mahavikas Aghadi leaders have intensified their efforts regarding this case. After pausing his hunger strike for Maratha reservation, Manoj Jarange Patil has shifted focus back to the Beed incident.

In a media statement, Manoj Jarange Patil noted that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had promptly agreed to four of their eight demands. He announced that on the 25th, Fadnavis would implement the Hyderabad, Satara, and Mumbai Gazettes, and he expressed optimism about the Chief Minister’s upcoming announcement on Maratha reservation.

Jarange Patil described Dhananjay Munde as greedy for money and power. He emphasized that Munde, appointed as a minister by the people, should resign if that is their wish. He criticized Munde’s lack of integrity, pointing out that others have stepped down after allegations, while Munde clings to his position.

Meanwhile, the Maratha community had placed great trust in MLA Suresh Dhas, a sentiment that has now been shattered following news of his meeting with Munde. Jarange Patil expressed disappointment, stating that Suresh Dhas should not have met Munde. He believed that had Dhas resigned and stood with the Maratha community, they would have supported him to a resounding victory. Instead, Dhas's meeting with Munde has betrayed both the community and Jarange’s trust in him.
