In a shocking incident, at-least 10 staff of Radha Krishna restaurant in Mumbai's Andheri West area on Friday have tested COVID-19 positive, said a BMC official.

All the staff member who tested positive for the virus have been 10 shifted to BKC Jumbo COVID Centre, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation official.

The restaurant is located in SV Road, Andheri (West) Mumbai. This comes nearly a week after the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) sealed Hotel Express Inn after 21 of its staffer diagnosed with the deadly virus.

Maharashtra on Thursday reported 8,998 new coronavirus cases, taking the infection tally to 21,88,183, while the death toll reached 52,340 as 60 patients succumbed to the infection.
