Mumbai: Fire breaks out at Mankhurd, no deaths so far
A major fire broke out at an oil depot in Mandala on Mankhurd-Ghatkopar Link Road on Friday. As soon as the fire was reported, 15 fire fighting jets were pressed into operation to restrict the spread of fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet understood. Efforts are being made by the fire brigade to control the fire. According to preliminary information, the fire broke out at an oil depot at Mankhurd Mandala.
There are also wood warehouses and scrap warehouses in the area where the fire broke out. There is also a residential area next door. The fire fighting jets are making full efforts to douse the fire. There are no reports of any injuries, so far.
