BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga pasted a poster that read ‘Emergency 2.0’ outside Maharashtra Sadan in protest against the arrest of Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami by Mumbai Police on Wednesday.

The poster has the picture of Indira Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray with a message that read, “You are most welcome to Emergency 2.0”.

Bagga had earlier launched a scathing attack on the Uddhav Thackeray-led MVA government saying the CM was behaving like German dictator Adolf Hitler.

“Emergency type situation in Maharastra, Uddhav is behaving like Hitler. This govt should be suspended asap,” said Bagga in a tweet.

Arnab Goswami and two others – Feroz Shaikh and Nitesh Sarda – were sent to 14-day judicial custody on Wednesday by Alibag District Magistrate Court in connection with Anvay Naik suicide case.
