A power outage was reported at Maharashtra Secretariat Building on Friday afternoon, due to high voltage at Nariman Point receiving point.A team of engineers have been deployed for restoration work, said PRO, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST).A similar incident had occurred on October 12 when a massive power outage brought Mumbai to a complete halt also disrupting train traffic of Central, Eastern and Western lines. The state and Centre constituted committees to investigate the reasons behind the incident.(More details are awaited)
