Nagpur Violence: PIL Filed at Bombay HC for Removal of Aurangzeb’s Tomb
After the recent Nagpur violence, a plea was filed at the Bombay High Court about the removal of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s Tomb. Ketan Tirodkar filed the PIL demanding the demolition of Aurangzeb’s Tomb and that it should be removed from the national monuments list as it is not consistent with Section 3 of the Archaeological Survey of India Act, 1958.
Meanwhile, the cops have arrested the prime accused in the Nagpur Violence Fahim Khan, and five others who were involved in these riots, and spreading misinformation on social media.

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, a Muslim cleric, wrote a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah and asked him to ban the Chhaava movie claiming that it was inciting communal tensions and that the movie was also responsible for the Nagpur Violence.
