Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) workers launched protest against Republic TV Editor-In-Chief Arnab Goswami outside his office in Mumbai.

The protest was held over the leaked chats between journalist Arnab Goswami and former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta. The party demanded an immediate inquiry over leaking of such classified information about the Balakot air strikes.

The protest was led by former legislator Vidya Chavan and NCP state chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase.

Only very few people are expected to be in the know of such secret information, to know the details of the military operations. As per the chats Goswami had prior knowledge about the Balakot airstrike and he passed on the information to Dasgupta.

Recently, the court has also rejected the bail plea of former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta in connection to the TRP scam. Goswami is also one of the key accused in the TRP scam and reports state that he tried to manipulate ratings of his channels.
