25 hospital staff including 19 nurses have tested positive for COVID-19 in Ruby Hall Clinic, confirmed Bomi Bhote, Chief Executive Officer, Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune. 

The Clinic has tested atleast 1000 of their staff members till now. “It all started with one case of the hospital staff coming from the Kasarwadi area, which prompted us to immediately swing into action. At present, there are 25 positive cases at the hospital, all of whom are asymptomatic and absolutely stable,” he said.

As per health officer of the Pune Municipal Corporation Chandrashekhar Hankare, necessary care of the hospital staff members who tested positive must be taken by the hospital to curb the spread of the disease. “All other staff members must also be tested. Those who test negative must be asked to report to work. The same procedure has been followed at Sassoon Hospital too,” he said.
