Parts of Mumbai on Monday morning received light to moderate showers amid the winter season. As per reports, several areas including Thane, Navi Mumbai, Palghar and Raigad received moderate rain and cooler climate.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) Mumbai, light to moderate rain expected to continue for the next 3-4 hours. “Latest satellite image indicating cloudyness over North Konkan region. Light to mod rains expected to continue for next 3,4 hrs. There could be traffic jams, poor visibility,” KS Hosalikar, DDG, IMD Mumbai tweeted.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday predicted light to moderate rain and thunderstorms over parts of the interior of Maharashtra in the next two to three days owing to the presence of a low-pressure weather system in the Arabian Sea.
