Amid the ongoing friction within the Maharashtra grand alliance govt, NCP(SP) MLA Rohit Pawar has made some serious allegations, claming that CM Devendra Fadnavis exerting undue influence over DyCM Ajit Pawar's finance dept These remarks come amidst persistent discussions of unrest within the ruling coalition, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction), and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction). He stated that from the dispute over the post of Guardian minister to disagreements regarding fund distribution, tensions between the three parties have often surfaced. However, senior leaders from all side have continued to publicly maintain that all is well.
"The Chief Minister has in a way infiltrated Ajit Dad's Finance Department by creating the post of 'Chief Economic Advisor to the Chief Minister' with the status of a Minister of State. Henceforth, all the policy decisions of the Finance Department and optionally all the administrative decisions will come under the jurisdiction of the Chief Economic Advisor instead of the Chief Economic Advisor. After reviewing the decisions taken in the last two and a half years, first Eknath Shinde Saheb's departments were infiltrated, now it is Ajit Dad's turn. Since the current Chief Minister has always had a tendency towards authoritarianism, he has emphasized on keeping every ministry under his direct or indirect control, and the decision to appoint the Chief Economic Advisor is also part of the same function. In a democracy, the results of decentralization of power and teamwork have always been better than centralized power, so it will be in the interest of Maharashtra for the Chief Minister to change his working methods," said Rohit Pawar.

"The remaining question is about allies, and in the BJP's dictionary, allies only mean 'temporary convenience', so the BJP's modus operandi is to end even temporary convenience as soon as the need is over. Although everyone knows this BJP diplomacy from the outside, it is unfortunate for the allies that the allies who are being hunted do not realize it until they are hunted," Rohit Pawar said in his post.
